Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th, 1962) is an American actor from the United States. Following her debut movie in 1983, Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat pack consisting of actors. She appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy was born in America and she is an actor as well as an author. The early 1980s were when she started her career in film with the crime thriller Bad Boys. She was very well-received in this film. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, in which other actors were notable, such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. She appeared on screen in The Breakfast Club in 1985 the comedy following her initial fame. John Hughes' film, written by him, was one of history's greatest high-school films. The film was made for less than $1,000,000 however it made over 50 million dollars. In the meantime she started appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first television appearance. The show premiered in April of 1980. show was first aired. The show was designed for young people. Other TV shows she appeared in included Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse an action film featuring a superhero where she is a cameo. Sheedy is the recipient of numerous awards for her outstanding performances, which include an award from the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
