Forbes magazine, in its August 2020 issue, named Addison Rae to be the highest TikToker earner worldwide. She is also among the most popular users on TikTok. Addison Rae has also become the most popular person on Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. She made her debut as a singer when she released her single Obsessed in 2021. It reached fourth spot on New Zealand Hot Singles charts and also became the sixth trending YouTube video that same day. Addison Rae is also nominated at prestigious award ceremonies, such as People's Choice Awards MTV Movie & TV Awards as well as Kids' Choice Awards.
