Felicity is an actress from England known for her performance as Jane Hawking, the protagonist in The Theory of Everything. Jones began her acting career at age of 12 and appeared in various TV series, plays, and films. Her career began with the film on television The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch (a television series), she was Ethel Hallow. The sequel The Weirdsisters College was also made. In her first film Flashbacks of a Fool she was Young Ruth and went on to feature in several movies. In movies like The Invisible Woman or The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she gained acclaim for her acting. It was, however, the performance she gave in The Theory of Everything that earned her the Oscar for the first time. Jones was widely praised for her performance as Hawking's former wife. It was inspired by the story of Stephen Hawking. She was then seen in Inferno an action film starring Tom Hanks. It was the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles awarded Jones with the British Artist of the Year in the year 2016 because of her outstanding talent and contribution to cinema.
